For many years I have been using Logition software “AutoRun Pro Enterprise II Ver. 4” and never had a problem with Norton Security. Recently I found and update for AutoRun, on the Logition website, for Ver. 6. I downloaded the update and it installed without any issues. When I tried to use the software Norton Security Auto protect now reports a Trojan.Gen2 in the newly created “autorun.exe” file. This action happens every time I try to create a new menu with ver. 6. Could this be a false positive?? How can I tell?? Thanks
You can report false positive indications here https://submit.symantec.com/false_positive/
You can also submit the file to virustotal.com to see if other security software detects anything.
