Hello,
if assisted by legit Norton Chat agent, while having a remote session, how can I be sure that no file from my computer was copied?
Does Norton applies some limitations regarding this for LogMeIn Rescue?
Thanks

That is correct. As I have said, you see everything that is happening during the session.
From what I've seen, the Chat shows you all the things that are happening, right?
Apart from the conversation, you can also see the log in the chat at the same time of what the agent is doing, correct?
Like the example here:

I have had multiple remote contacts with Norton and I saw everything the agent was doing.
I understand that. Just wanted to confirm if the customer actually sees everything. If it's the case, then fine.
While logged into your system, the remote agent is basically just running your computer. Downloading any required utilities and gathering any necessary files or changing registry settings. So anything you could do with the Windows user account you logged into can be done by the agent.
If you do not trust a remote agent, you should not use that kind of service.
If contacted by genuine Norton Support, you might be able to just ask for instructions to gather all the information a remote agent might do. Depending on your experience level, this may or may not be an option for you.
Thanks for the reply!
I thought that with LogMeIn Rescue's File Manager the end user (customer) would not see anything of what was going on in the background regarding files, and there are sensible files that the user can have on some folders. That's why I was asking, regarding this concern.
While connected, you are viewing everything the agent is doing. At any time if you really do not like something the agent is doing, you can end the session with the press of a button.
There are no limitations placed on the session other than the access permissions of the Windows user you used while having the session. The agent is going to need to create the required log files and then they will need to upload them from your system to Norton's system so they can analyse the logs. But again you are watching what files they are accessing, and can stop the session if they seem to be going off track.
