Windows shutdown takes a long time because of Norton.
Shutting down Windows often takes several minutes because Norton Tools cannot be closed. Error 7043 in the log. The error happens on all of my 5 computers that have Norton installed. Version 24.12.9725 (Build 24.12.9725.897), Windows 10+11 in the current version. Is there a workaround?
Hello. This is what Microsoft suggests to correct the issue:
What are your hardware specs for this computer? Custom built or made by an OEM? Asking because certain OEM’s use third party or software they created that can cause issues.
