Mac OS future compatibility issue

Has anyone had the following message when installing the latest software update on Mac OS Catalina

Legacy System Extension

Existing software on your system loaded a system extension signed by “Symantec”, which will be incompatible with a future version of macOS. Contact the developer for support.

I contacted Symantec but the said they were unaware of any issues and were not interested in taking it further.

I am using Catalina OS and continue to get this message.  In fact when I restarted my computer last night the message appeared. In the past I also got the message related to Malwarebytes, but I don't see that anymore.  Any thoughts about what we can do?

As 3rd party software companies are not given previous notice or even a beta version, than as it's a new upgrade as of today you'll need to wait around a week for them to see it and find the part of the code that is now incompatible with the new upgraded OS. My NIS was fully functional after upgrade.
