Mac Security Uninstall: Crashes

I installed a Norton Security Suite for Mac offered by Comcast.

My system performance degraded significantly afterwards.

I tried uninstalling the software but couldn't find any "uninstall" menues, so I physically deleted the apps.

Now I have had 2 system panics, black screen freezes and automatic restarts.

I combed my system again and found some com.symantec.kexts in my system library extensions.

I removed them.

Now I have a startup warning "Norton Virus cant be loaded because the extensions need to be updated."

How do I delete whatever is triggering this warning and get ALL Symantec files, extensions, apps, scripts...EVERYTHING off my Mac and out of my System?

Prior to installation of this software, I had NO PROBLEMS.
