I run Norton 360 on my Mac, under Parallels with Windows 7. Does that protect the entire machine, or do I need another version for the OSX part?

How do I do that? Can I use one of my licences from the PC-version on my Mac?

If you have Norton 360 Multi-device, you should be able to get the Mac version and activate it.  See:

I'm not sure of the logistics for how you get the Mac download, hopefully some of the links on that page will direct you (possibly via your Norton Account).  There is a support link "Help to download and install your product".
