Thunderbird and arcor mail does not work together if the VPN is aktive.

I already excluded thunderbird exe from VPN, nevertheless I do not get conected?

Does anybody nows what to do?

Be sure you are using the full path to the Thunderbird exe at C:\Program Files\Mozilla Thunderbird\thunderbird.exe and not the Thunderbird app listed when you try to set up the split tunnel.

Does disabling the VPN allow this to work as a test? Vodaphone will block the connection with a VPN, have you changes the VPN geo location to see whether that is accepted?

  • I disabled the VPN and it is working perfectly.

  • I changed the location to Switzerland, but there is no change — it still doesn’t work.

  • Within the Norton app I cannot enter the complete path; I can only select the .exe file (by choosing it in the correct folder)
