Making a bootable Windows 7 image with Norton Ghost 15.0

I have about 50 computers that I need to get up and running, so I was told by a friend to use Norton Ghost 15.0, but I am new to this and cannot figure out how to get this to work. I am trying to make an image/clone of 1 pc and put it on a jumpdrive/dvd so that I can just pop it into a freshly built pc and have it load everythingf from the jumpdrive/dvd so that I will not have to go through the process of installing Windows 7 and all of the associated drivers and programs. How would I go about this?

THIS is probably a better solution.

But the cost? !

Don't Microsoft have some tools to do this sort of thing -- Technet? Although I don't know if they handle applications as well?

I think the WAIK (Windows Automated Installation Kit ) might be up to the task for multiple PC deployment.

Ghost would work fine but there would be a licensing problem.

Windows 7 has a image tool in it already.  If the hardware is all the same or very similar you could do it for free by creating an image of the first system and use it to restore the others.   Just like you would be doing with Ghost.

Use a non activated system as the base image, install any software  as trials using the administrator account. Update windows and then image the system.  As you restore the systems, create the end user accounts and put in the correct serial numbers.
