I have received a lot of good info in response to my recent posts. I’ve marked a lot of them as Solved. When I look at the list of all the messages that I have posted only a few actually show the “Solved” icon beside them. Am I not marking them properly? Why don’t they show as solved? Thanks.

If you look at your threads and their posts, you will see that they are chronologically listed. Only the very first post you used to open the thread is the one which bears the solution marker - the other posts which are posted to the thread after the opening/leading post do not display the solution marker.
This is perfectly normal. Just checked with my own threads which I had opened and marked solved.
I snapped a portion from the list of threads you have opened; you will see that the solved posts (in the red boxes) are the first/leading posts of your thread, as mentioned above; the posts you and others posted to those threads afterwards do not have the "Solved" checkmark :-)
