I have had NIS installed on 3 PCs for several years with no problems - two Win7 x64 & one WinXP x32. Today, the version 22.5.0.124 was auto-installed on the 2 Win7 PCs. Oh well, so be it.
In the past, when my annual subscription came up for renewal, I would buy a new license key from Amazon and update the 3 installations with the new key. It was cheaper than buying the renewal from Norton. There are 40 days left on my current subscription, so I am close to having to renew.
I went to Amazon and it appears that the download version of NIS is no longer available. Apparently I can still renew NIS through Norton, but for a ridiculous $79.00.
So here's my questions - Is there a cheaper third party source for a 3 PC license key for NIS? Or, is my only option to either pay Norton their high price or migrate to NS? How do I migrate to NS? I am particularly concerned about installing NS on the older WinXP machine. It is at SP3, but let's face it, it's older, slower hardware.
Thanks for any help.
