Missing Norton toolbar with Windows 7 Starter op system

I have an Acer Aspire Notebook PC. It came preloaded with Windows 7 Starter Edition. In May 2011 I downloaded Norton 360 to this computer but the Norton toolbar is amoung the missing. I have two other PC with Windows 7 Home Edition running on these PC and the toolbar is present on both of these PC's I like the toolbar because it allows me to sign into several E-Mail accounts without having to type the addresses and passwords. Is there any way that I coould load this tooolbar to the Acer Aspire PC?

what version of internet explorer do you have? you can check it by clicking help on top of internet explorer -->click about internet explorer  it will show the version of IE , i think you should have internet explorer 8 and above since you mentioned your operating system is Win 7.

Try the below step as well if the above mentioned steps provided by yogesh doesnt worked.

1.) Click on Tools on internet explorer.

2.) Go for Internet option in that select Advanced tab

3.) below settings search for "Enable thirdparty browser extensions" make sure it is Checked if not then check it and save the settings. restart the Internet explorer and hope it should be fixed.

I did what you suggested but your suggestion was already enabled . I follow another suggestion ( a Symantec site ) and was able to fix my toolbar problem.

I thank you for your help!

Thank you for your help this did the trick. I now have the toolbar Hooray!

I have tried all of these so-called fixes without success. Norton toolbar does NOT show up anywhere, not in add on manager either. Also although I have the Identify Safe turned on, auto fil, etc., nothing happens.

Hi Wayne,

Which version of what browser are you using? Norton does not suport the x64 version of any browser.
