Does Norton Security cause a reduction of data transfer by upgrading to windows 10?
I noticed a complete stop transmission by mobile modem before I downloaded the whole file upgrade of windows 10.
Can we increase transfer using NS settings?

@Urszula P_ka: Have you ever tried using IDM to get the huge Windows 10 ISO file?
Moreover, you can learn make the best of that huge download:
The code in Norton Security is the same whether you are on Win 7 or Win 10. If your system slows after installing Win 10, it is something in the OS causing the change.
Urszula, it is possible Norton Security could "briefly" interrupt a data transfer if it does not recognize a source as trustworthy, but Windows 10 upgrades have never triggered such a response on my laptop or desktop.
Microsoft offers a choice for source and speed of downloading. (Settings, Update and security, Windows Update, Advanced options, Choose how updates are delivered) Because I have a slow connection (DSL), I use "network and other PCs" to accelerate Microsoft updates.
I am not aware that Norton Security is capable of increasing transfer speed. Gurus, what say you?
