I've just had a monthly report flash up which showed over 3000 Network attacks, and more than 39000 known threats.
Is this specific to my machine?
I've had no other indication of any intrusion attempt being blocked, or any other warnings from the Norton software.
What's going on...or am I misunderstanding the information?
you should take care on the difference between known threats and those found on your pc:
-> threats detected and events monitored !

It would appear I misread the report. Historically I would get one or two 'threats detected' in the computer section, but this time there were none, the '39,000+ known threats' threw me.
