Mozilla halts Firefox 76 rollout and Preps Firefox 76.0.1 to fix issues

Currently, Mozilla is working to address a couple of issues it discovered in Firefox 76.0, the company has halted the update rollout or in other words, Firefox users who have automatic updates enabled won’t receive the version 76 and will receive 76.0.1 version eventually when Mozilla releases the minor update.

Recently Mozilla released Firefox 76.0 with improvements to Lockwise password manager and Picture-in-Picture feature, the company found the update has broken Amazon Assistant add-on where Home feed with deals, customer recommendations, search bar, and other features doesn’t appear and tabs in 32-bit Firefox version on Windows 7  crash due to Nvidia driver.

That 0.1 fix may have played havoc with my TBird yesterday -- I was writing a fairly long email, not abnormal tho' with a large file already attached (by large too large to send except by gmail Drive which I was going to use although I was editing in TBird although on a message with my gmail address when it kept on freezing saying it couldn't save to the draft folder giving me the alternative to continue or stop; continue eventually saved and went back to normal.

I don't know if it was due to Tbird or to my having attached the large video file (147MB) to the message when the "found reference to attaching -- do now or later?"

I've only done a very short email so far this morning.

Thnks for the fix heads up

It might explain why I sudenly got a seies of emails from Amazon about had I really recently logged in to their site -- I had and had it open while dealing with another forum using FF76 ....
