When on line using Wi Fi my laptop frequently grinds to a halt courtesy of mpfp.exe - a file which identifies itself as Norton. I use Internet Security 2011. When the system freezes my only recourse is to turn off and on. Note looking at processes the mpfp file tends to have more than one occurence and up to 97% usage!
I can't delete or neutralise the file - what other options are open to me?
