Multi-user Licenses

I have 2 Norton 360 3 user licenses and all 6 licenses are in use..

How can I tell which computer was registered under which license?

There seems like there should be an easier way to do this, but you can go to the Key text on each of the machines and match up which key is used on which machine.

Your product key number is stored in Norton 360_KEY.txt in the following
location:

In Windows 7 or Windows Vista:
C:\Users\\Documents\Symantec\Norton 360_KEY.txt

In Windows XP:
C:\Documents and Settings\\My Documents\Symantec\Norton 360_KEY.txt

The same key number will show on three machines.  Then you can go to your account and match the Key numbers to the subscription.

Thanks for the info on the Product Key and accessing each machine to get the Key, but what if you have disposed, that is scrapped one of the machines. How do you find the Key for that one.....its probably in some land fill some where?

Is the disposed one included in the 6?   It should be easy to figure out if you only have 5 physically on hand!  :smileywink:

If you still have 6 on hand and all are activated - I dont; see what it really matters which key the disposed one had, as it had to be deactivated in order for the remaining 6 to be activated.

You can locate old key numbers if you have had more than one subscription/product by going to ACCOUNT, signing in and then looking at your account (clicking  on the name of your old product) and see the key number of the product that way.  It will not give you the system name it was installed on though.

Keith,

From what I've read about the Public Beta of the next (2012 version of NIS/NAV) that is under way at present but must be nearing the release to manufacture, there is a Management function built in (or an add-on?) that you can use to keep track of which PC has which KEY.
