I use Norton 360 and have the account under a cox email account. I switched from cox to Verizon and have a new email address. I thought I was updating my account and now I have two Norton accounts. The ***@cox.net that has everyting I want but do not have access to the email anymore and my ***@verizon.net account that I have access to the email but lists non of my product information. How do I reconcile the two? Thanks!
When I try that, it tells me that "An account already exists for this email address. Sign in or try a different Email Address" since during my last attempt to change this I must have created a new acount rather than update the old one.
The Norton 360 product that I have is version: 5.1.0.29
Hi,
What I suggested was:-
1) Browse to "https://www.mynortonaccount.com/amsweb/default.do" webpage.
2) Click "SignIn" button and enter your ***@cox.net Norton Account ID and sign in.
3) Click "Profile" link in the webpage.
4) In the "Email Address" and "Retype Email Address" fields enter the ***@verizon.net email address, enter all other mandatory fields and click "Update" button.
Now your ***@verizon.net email address replaces your ***@cox.net as Norton Account.
When I do as you instruct me to, I get an error that reads: "An account already exists for this email address. Sign in or try a different Email Address." Since it is my email address, and I can log onto the second Norton account with my information, I must have created second Norton account with the verizon email address instead of updating the old account with the new email address.
I want to combine my two Norton accounts into one so I can have the new email address on the original account.
Is there a customer suuport that can delete the newer Norton account for me? Then I can go in and update as you recommend.

Workaround to this is: 1) Login your Norton account using your new verizon email. Then change your account ID to something random like add a number at the end. Then logout. 2) Login the account using your old cox.net email. Once inside, you can change the cox.net email to the new verizon one (which you have “released” a while ago.
