First, I already went through the process provided by the link, but here is an echo. I and the rest of the MechWarrior community along with MekTek, if I may speak for them on this issue, would greatly appreciate a more timely and agressive approach on the part of Symantec to resolve the issue.
The issue being, mw4mercs.exe is being recognized as a Trojan.Gen.2 and prevents the game from starting. The user then has to open Norton, go into the Security history, find the file and instruct Norton to restore the "risk".
I, and I'm sure many others, appreciate what you are doing now to address the problem, but in the meantime, others are frustrated.
Please continue your efforts, eventually we can all go home happy.
