My crypto mining seems to have stopped mining. The meter has stopped moving for a couple of days now but it says it's active? I have been mining for about 10 days. Has anyone else experienced this problem? The crypto screen use to be green and now the background is white.
I've been going about 3 weeks, just shy of .003 but there been a lot times I've paused or turned it off due to the dead mining time which hit again some time early morning. No balance increasing again but my GPU was being used, cloud wallet was showing unavailable. Going to keep trying to get that 1st .004, may take another 3 weeks at this rate. After that, not sure I'll use it much if at all.
What I have noticed with the updated (white background instead of green) mining screen is the progression meter moves VERY slowly, but it does progress. It took about 3 weeks to make a full circle but I was paid what I had mined over that time.
After first reinstall i have lost my mining ability, after second reinstall crypto miner showed up again but nothing changed. Payout still waiting and ETH balance doesn't change during mining.
Now, just after another reinstall, App recognize my RTX3090 as GTX1080. On website Active GPU is correct. Over two months ago NCrypto was great, now after each update there are more and more issues and it works much slower than before. I hope they will fix that issues soon because now Norton Crypto is completly unprofitable for users.
sounds like we are mining for norton and they are just taking the rewards because im mining, my gpu is running, but im getting nothing so until there is a solution and it ACTUALLY WORKS I will be turning this off, there is 0 way to reach someone for support, no way to configure anything and to be honest I feel like I have not been paid for a job I did. Uninstalling and reinstalling DOES NOT FIX THIS and this feature DOES NOT WORK AS INTENDED
I have tried these and it did not work. I have mined for 3 weeks no issue and now it says mining, gives me a hashrate but my balance doesnt move at all and its been like this for days
Ok. My crypto totals are changing and updating but the meter does not change or move. Is this fine? Also if I uninstall and reinstall Norton will I lose my accumulated crypto?
You need to update your Norton 360 software by running the update manually:
My Norton --> Device Security --> Live Update
You may want to restart your PC as well after the patch to ensure a clean start up of Norton 360.
This update will install a patch that applies a significant update to the Norton 360 Cryptomining tool. You will know the patch worked when you see the Cryptomining screen is white instead of green. As part of the new update, you will now see a circular countdown hashrate meter in the center of the screen that shows the progression until the next payout (based upon .004 Ethereum increments).
