When checking “My Devices” in My Norton account, the list correctly includes the names of my two separate laptops, as assigned in Windows PC Name (not renamed in Norton), but only lists mobile devices (iOS) as either iPhone or iPad, despite them having been assigned with individual identifiers in General > Settings > About > Name.
The anonymity of the list of multiple iPhones and iPads is a security (and account) vulnerability.
It is also an administrative nightmare, knowing which iPhone/iPad specifically to remove - without risking signing out from (and stopping the protection for) active iPhone/iPad devices.
Yet it can identify laptops via Windows name setting.
Norton does let itself down, and I get the impression that there is very little, if any, end user experience testing.
