I have been using Norton's for several years and recently I have found 4 un-authorized computers listed on my service. I deleted them many times often on a daily basis yet they continued to appear. I contacted Nortons by phone and the issue was addressed by the given a new product code which I set up on my computers (3). I did not type the product key, I was careful to copy and paste it as needed. For a short time I had no problems yet this was short lived as again I had an un-authorized user managing to use my product that I purchased. Not only did this person manage to learn my account details, password and product key, which is what I assume they needed to do this, it was the same "computer name' as one of the users who was originally managing to access my service before the change of product key number.
Recently my hard drive on my main computer shred itself and there was nothing my IT could recover, therefore I started with a complete new system on the computer. I was hopeful that this single event could have stopped the unwanted user for accessing my product, but like an bad dream he re-appeared and now I am back to deleting the user off my license whenever I notice them there, currently every 2nd or 3rd day.
I would like to know why this is happening and is your product safe given this 'user' appears to be accessing a product that I bought in confidence.
A solution that works and rebuild my trust in your product would be greatly appreciated
