My VPN shutdown unexpectedly today

My VPN shutdown unexpectedly today, a first. I tried starting it in another region, but none of them were working either. I then ran live update followed by a quick scan. After this, I tried to turn on the VPN again. No luck, so I rebooted my computer. No luck. I waited about 45 minutes and the VPN finally turned on.

Previously, on other days when the VPN would not start, it would start in one of the other regions but not today. Was there a worldwide problem at Norton where the VPNs were under attack, or is someone attempting to hack into my computer by blocking my VPN?

Zemmeiergo,

Just to mention you are not alone, I had the exact problem on Oct.3 probably the same time. Took around 45 minutes to start working again. A VPN drop off like that has never happened to me before.

So it probably wasn't just you and I.

I have had it with Norton.

Most the time i can not connect vpn and now there is something about Google files that Norton CANT fix!!!
