Hello ShintoKun

Are you able to get to any security sites like www.symantec.com or the sites for any other security program. Some malware can block you from accessing those kinds of sites. Please also check to see if you can access any banking sites. Don't do any banking, just see if you have a problem getting into any of them Thanks.

I've done all your steps but still cannot access it :(

And I do not have any spyware or anything. All norton website works except the MyNortonAccount.com

Can you try to boot your computer to Safe Mode with Networking and check whether you can access the Norton Account page?

Hello ShintoKun

Have you tried accessing that page using all lower case letters instead of some caps? Also, when that error comes up, have to clicked where it says to test your network connections? Please check your host files to see if something in there could be blocking you from loading that page.

You could also try running a free , full scan with Malwarebytes just to makd sure you don't have some malware that could be blocking you.

Download the free version, install and update then run a FULL scan. After the scan completes you should post the logs back to this thread.

You can find Malwarebytes here

http://www.filehippo.com/download_malwarebytes_anti_malware/

It is a safer location to get the program from than malwarebytes themselves because some malware creators have large lists of sites that they block. Please be careful to down load the correct program ----the FREE version of MALWAREBYTES

(Thanks to Delph for providing the alternative site)

Hi, Flo.

If you will at the poster's first post and the IE display, you will see that it processed the correct URL and that capitalization is irrelevant.

To the poster:

Have you tried using a different browser (valuable for informational purposes).

You can also try resetting your IE browser to its original settings using Tools>Internet Options>Advanced>Reset.  Please read the message that pop-ups carefully before you proceed.

Hello mijcar

Firefox, Internet explorer, other browsers don't work.

O/P said the other browsers don't work either.

nothing has worked so far! :(

Hello ShintoKun

Have you tried a full scan with the free version of Malwarebytes?

To Flo:  You're absolutely right.

The thing is, it doesn't sound like malware either if he can get to other sites like Norton.

But maybe we're assuming too much.  Time for some direct questions.

To:  The poster.

Because some malware redirects or blocks access to security sites, we need you to try and verify some things.  Most important is whether or not you can access www.norton.com, http://home.mcafee.com/Downloads/FreeScan.aspx, http://usa.kaspersky.com/downloads/free-virus-scanner.php.  These are among the most common blocked sites.  If you can get to these, then you probably don't have a site redirecter problem.

Hello

I have already asked that question also. He can get to all the parts of Norton site.  That was also the purpose of me asking if he can do a full scan with Malwarebytes. Malwarebytes is one of those sites where malware might block it. I also asked if he can access any banking sites, but not to do any banking there.

ShintoKun

Can you access mynortonaccount thru the interface of your Norton product.? Have you ever set up an account with Norton and is your license current for your Norton account?

I know that.  I was repeating it to emphasize the importance of his providing an answer for all such sites.  :-)
I am concerned because the behavior just doesn't sound viral.

I have already scanned with malaware bytes and removed some malaware, however still have the problem

Hello ShintoKun

Would you please post the log from Malwarebytes so that we can see what was fixed? You can open up the log in Malwarebytes, save it to desktop, then use the add attachment below the reply to message to post the log here. Thanks.

Also, can you please post a HiJackThis log so we can see if there is anything running that may be interfering.

Please download HiJackThis from http://free.antivirus.com/hijackthis/ Choose the executable and save it on your desktop. Run the file and select the first option on the main menu "Do a system scan and save a log file". When this is finished, Notepad will open with the log file in it. Save the log file and attach it to a post here via the Add Attachments Please don't attempt to fix anything that it shows until someone checks out the log. Thanks.
