MyWebSearch Toolbar FYI

Hi guys,

 

I just noticed a post in relation to MyWebSearch

and responded as such.

 

Due to a Vendor dispute scenario we had in the past, we do not detect MyWebSearch toolbar files or installers.

We did at one time detect it as Adware.MyWebSearch as it did at one time fall into the criteria that we would define as adware. However the vendor themselves changed the behaviour of the program and based on this change we agreed to no longer detect them. 

Im sure you guys know already but there is a risk classification system that we use to define risks...

The company that distribute MyWebSearch are now known as Mindspark.
