When I tried to launch my DVDFAB program I have had for months Norton processed a threat saying my exe file was a trojan horse. I have been using this program for months. What do I do? Is there something wrong with my program? Do i restore and tell Norton to ignore the threat?
Thanks
Thank you.
My Version subscription is current. I run Malwarebytes latest version already. My system is free of virus and maleware and my definitions are up to date. I have no desire to upgrade to 3.5 at this time. I still dont understand how I can be using both of these programs for months and have no problem until i tried to launch the program today after getting a new download of virus definitinitions.
Can someone please help.

This could be a False Positive due to the latest virus definitions. Please go to the Tasks > View Security History and view the Resolved security risks. Select the one for the DVDFAB file and choose to send this to Symantec. Then you can restore the file and choose to add it to the scan exculsions while adding it.
If you want you can also submit this as a False Positive via this link: https://submit.symantec.com/dispute/false_positive/ after you restore the file to your hard drive.
Hi gaos
I assume when you tried to use DVDFAB, it was the latest version of the program that came out in Nov. If it was a new version, it might have been flagged because it hasn't been used by many people yet. Just an idea and I may be way off base.
