N360 Backup continues to have issues, which seem to stem from the fact that Norton is out of touch with how things work in the real world.
1. Immediately after a backup is completed, both cloud and local backups can report random times since the backup, such as “two hours ago” or “a day ago”. What is the point of this if you can’t get it right? Why not simply state the last backup time?
2. Managing backups is a tedious exercise, especially local backup. The directory tree seems to get rebuilt each time a node is selected, which can take minutes.
3. Backup locations used to be defined independently of the backup set. If a cleanup was required, folders deleted from the backup set would be restored in the next backup. Now, deleted folders must be added back to the backup set itself, which immediately triggers a backup. This forces you to wait until the backup is completed before resuming management of another backup set.
