My next suggestion is usually to try the Norton Removal and Reinstall tool, but there may still be issues with the tool recognising the new Norton product versions. If you want to try, in case the tool has been updated follow the instructions below. If the tool is not updated yet, it just will not work, it will not harm anything.
Download the Norton Removal and Reinstall Tool from here www.norton.com/nrnr
If you use Identity Safe, backup/export your data. Use the CSV format for compatibility.
Run the Norton Removal and Reinstall Tool.
Reboot.
Run LiveUpdate manually a few times, rebooting as necessary, until no updates are available.
Try to log into your Identity Safe. If you can, you are done. If not, Import your Identity Safe data.
I tried to use the Norton Removal and Reinstall Tool but it does not yet recognize the version I have and I get an error messge informing me as such. I'll keep trying it until the new version is recognized and post my results afterward.

There is another tool that has been updated, I just wanted to do things in the order we ususlly follow. The Norton Removal Tool does a more thorough uninstall than the NRNR, but the end result should be the same in most cases.
Download the Norton Removal Tool from here www.norton.com/nrt
If you use Identity Safe, backup/export your data. Use the CSV format for compatibility.
Uninstall your Norton product with Windows control panel.
Reboot.
Run the Norton Removal Tool.
Reboot.
Log into your Norton Account from here www.account.norton.com
Click on the Download button beside your current product subscription. This will download and install a preactivated copy of your product.
Run LiveUpdate manually a few times, rebooting as necessary, until no updates are available.
Try to log into your Identity Safe. If you can, you are done. If not, Import your Identity Safe data.
I uninstalled using the Norton Removal Tool and reinstalled N360 as specified in your post and the problem is still there.
I also tried creating a test backup as intesec mentioned in an earlier post and that didn't fix it either.
As we have not found the solution yet, I would suggest you contact Norton Support via online chat. If there is some issue with your account, they should be able to help.
