N360 problems, invisible; Check boxes invisible; Firefox Toolbar

I have three problems:

1. Norton 360 background invisible, see picture attached.

2. Check boxes invisible, making scanning, and selecting files for backup difficult, see picture attached.

3.Firefox Toolbar not working; possibly the add on, NORTON IPS too.

What is your OS and Service Pack level (if any)?  What version of N360 do you have (the version number is available in the Help > About menu)?  What version of Firefox are you running?

Sorry for the delay but we have to wait for the moderators to approve your images for display.

ohh, Windows 7 Professional and it's Version: 4.0.0.127

My FF is Firefox 3.6.3, that is a problem a lot of people are having, I've just stopped the toolbar and the IPS from running.

Hi Mangoh,

Did you try uninstalling and reinstalling the Norton product?

If not, try that first. Download Norton Removal Tool from this LINK. Run the removal tool multiple times(2-3 mins) to make sure that all components are uninstalled completely. Go to your Norton Account using this LINK and get the Product Key. You may require this same Product Key for activating the Norton program. You can use the Upgrade Center for installing the latest version of Norton 360. After installing the Norton program, run LiveUpdate repeatedly untill you see the message "No more updates" and then restart the computer. Let us know the results.

Hi,

Can you check what kind of theme you are using? You can right click on the desktop area and select "Personalize" to see the currently active theme? Is it one of those high contrast or some custom theme? If so, can you try enabling a standard one say from "Aero Themes" to see if that makes a difference (You would need to close and reopen the N360 UI).

Thanks,

Anubhav

I had my own theme on, but I've changed it to the Windows 7 default one and the UI is still invisible.

I did everything you said, and the Norton Toolbar is back, and I can see everything again, thanks :D
