I have N360 V5. When opening up the dialog for exluding certain elements from the antivirus scan
the files pagefile.sys and hiberfil.sys appear greyed, and when trying to select them for exclusion
the "Apply" button turns grey and won't let me continue.
Is there a way to exclude them?
Also, related to this, under the "Automatic Protection" tab (apologies if the names are not literally right, I am translating from my spanish version of N360) the option "Cache Storage" - seems very confusing and I am unable to tell which setting activates or deactivates what. The information given in N360 seems contradictory:
1. Going by the name, it seems that when you turn this option on you _activate_ Cache storage protection - I might easily be wrong, but I take this to mean that writes and reads to eg. pagefile.sys are always scanned.
2. On the other hand, if you read the related help information it will tell you that _activating_ this protection means that "frequently accessed files" are _never_ scanned.
Which of these apparently contradictory pieces of information is the right one?
Which setting, "Cache Storage" on or off, will be the smaller resource hog of the two?
