I have “Send me non-critical app activity alerts” turned off. Well, this stops the Windows Notification Center from popping up a notification but does NOT stop these notifications. The Norton 360 Tray Icon still gets a blue dot, which means there’s a notification that I need to look at, only to find out that the notification says that no problems were found. If no problems found isn’t a NON CRITICAL notification, then someone there needs to rethink their understanding of the English language.
In addition to the above, every time I open the application’s window, it creates an Alert that says, “Your Protection Report has arrived!” I can open the report, close the application window, and reopen the application window and it will create a new Protection Report. This is absolutely STUPID and needs to be stopped.

@globus5000 The OP has an issue with Norton 360, not Norton Utilities. The NU updates pending will not have any effect regarding how N360 performs.
@comprev Indeed, many of us see these same issues with N360. Unfortunately its up to Norton to review the forums, advise the correct teams and correct the coding issues. IF they deem that something as important enough to warrant changes. Protection reports have been fickle for quite some time now having gone unattended or corrected.
