Navex15.sys causing crashes and lousy performance

Bear with me as I'm not terribly savvy on these things...I am running Norton 360 which is deployed through Comcast, my internet service provider. In recent months my system has started crashing when it's idle, mostly when it tries to go into Standby or Hibernation mode. I never had this problem until recently. I ran a Crash Analsys and it indicated that the file Navex15.sys version 20111.2.0.82 by Semantec was the problem. I suspect the problems with sticky keys and mouse unresponsiveness may be connected. I am running Windows XP. I have uninstalled my Norton Security Suite (which resulted in the system working great!) and reinstalled it multiple times in an effort to fix whatever the problem is to no avail. I've run all kinds of scans and fixes but nothing seems to be solving the problem. Driver Reset Tool reports that all is working properly. As I said, problems ceased when I uninstalled Norton, but that doesn't really solve the problem. Can anyone help me??
