I downloaded and installed Norton Bootable Recovery Tool Wizard on a computer that does not have any security threats and created a Norton Bootable Recovery Tool. Both computers are running Windows XP service pack 3; both have Norton Internet Security 2011 installed.
1. I inserted the recovery media (Norton Bootable Recovery Tool CD) and started my infected computer from the recovery media.
2. I entered my Product Key, and then clicked I Agree.
3. However, my infected PC did not display a window to Start Scan. The infected computer reboots. Tried several times and the infected computer reboots every time. IT DOES NOT SCAN.
HELP!!!
