I need to reset my computer to factory settings and I need to download a pre-activated version of Norton Security. I have purchased a Norton Security Deluxe for up to 5 devices and am only using 2 slots. Every single time I download and install the product, even after entering the product key on the download screen, Norton tells me that I have an expired trial version.....WHY????
I never had this problem before. I would login to my norton account, download the software and put it on a USB, then install it after the factory reset. It would go into trial version mode and would give me 15 days to enter my license. The thing is I don't need 15 days from the time of install. How about 2 hours so I don't have to connect my PC to the internet with ZERO firewall protection while I'm activating Norton "Security". I have a paid subscription with more than enough slots so what is the problem here?
It find it ridiculous that Norton wants me to connect my PC to the internet with no firewall or any kind of protection when I have already paid for their product to do that very exact thing.
Is there some solution or a way around this?
