Need a solution

smileyI have purchased Norton Security for 3 devices.When i want to protect my blackberry it says:IOS or Android.No box for blackberry.So what do i do now.I am a newbie here and need a solution if you can help.Thank you.My first time in a forum.smiley7Knowledge.

What you would expect - it rebooted

Tried to do an install again and the error displayed again.

Did a bit of disk maintenance and the error still displays when attempting to install the program

Are you using an admin Windows account to uninstall/reinstall?

 

Safe mode uninstall/reinstall maybe??

 

Don't want to use NRT.

I think I'm in admin mode with the only account on the machine - will double check in a bit

Haven't gone the safe mode route yet but that is on the list and nearing the top

NRT also removes other Norton products which I'm trying to avoid. a bit of a pain to replace and reconfigure all of them.

Hi dickevans, are you still seeing this issue on reinstall? 

Uninstalled the zone in programs and features because of this

zone.png

 

also deleted all of the zone folders and files. Still haven't found the key to being able to reistall it.

Was it a restart or a shutdown and startup again? If you shutdown and you have Windows 8 or 10 Fast Startup feature enabled, you are not getting a complete shutdown often required to complete any pending Norton fixes.

If you use Windows 8/8.1 or 10, there can be an issue with the Windows Fast Startup feature.. See more information here.
