Need Help With Rootkit

Hi Norton Community.

It seams like i got a rootkit and now i would be happy if anyone would help me remove it.

Please run a SysProt log for us so we can check your system for rootkit activity. You will need to disable Norton auto-protect while you run the scan, as well as any other antimalware program you may have installed on your PC.

Once it is downloaded to your desktop, right click on the SysProt icon, go to properties, and click unblock and apply.

Choose log, check all the boxes except show hidden objects only and then scan.

You will be able to post the log here using the "add attachments" link just below the orange post button.

Well Well Well.

When i run Malwarebytes it found many rootkits and i removed them.

but it seams like there is still 1 rootkit left and nomather how mnay times i remove it it comes back.

here is the log.

You have a kbiwk rootkit on your system. I have passed the details on to someone who will assist you further. Please try not to clean this any further as you may make things worse.

There is, as far as I can see, only the kbiwk Rootkit on your system. However, how many files are damaged/added, registry keys infected/added I could not say.

You will need to wait for the forum malware expert, Quads, to assist you with this infection.  It is a three part remediation, and you will need to follow his instructions.

 

Malwarebytes is not able to remove a rootkit, just other types of malware.
