Need info on p2p.worm.win 32.nugg.bc & trojan.win32.Agent2.crv

I’m helping a friend who is having some  with her computer. I was able to detect the two virus listed above, but can’t find any information on how to remove them . Her virus program seems to be corrupted and cannot remove them. Any assistance would be appreciated.

What version of Norton are you running? It should find and be able to remove it by now

She wasn’t running Norton, she was running Rogers Online Protection, but it isn’t working now. Do you think that if we install Norton now that her computer is already infected it will be able to clean the viruses? I don’t want to have her buy software if it isn’t going to work.

I think starting with Norton Internet Security 2009 is a great start. Have her try using the Norton Recovery Tool before install, since the Norton Recovery Tool helps you to check your computer for the risks that can prevent successful installation. Thanks!
