I do NOT have any Norton Browser protection extension installed on my browser yet today after this “update” of my Norton 360 my browser is blocked from loading websites. I cannot stop this as 1. I haven’t a norton extension to uninstall from my browser and 2. there is no option to stop it on the norton 360 app.
Even a frigging whitelist would work.
UPDATE. I’ve found a solution by UNINSTALLING Norton as it’s clear that they have pushed out a flawed update and won’t admit it by addressing mine or others issues. I’ll wait and see if they fix matters but will address my subscription if they do not.
you can disable it in norton to next update is comming and then enable it in next update
The thing is, I couldn’t’ find “browser protection” when I went looking for it and like i have said previously, I didn’t have any norton extension on my browser. Frankly I didn’t look for it to be enabled in the 1st place and yet the update saw fit to enable and then stop my browsing without any Clear and easy option to disable it. So no, I’ll keep Norton uninstalled from my PC, thanks.
Just remember to install it antivirus like avg free to the next update is comming

I agree, the amount of false positives I’ve been getting has been excruciating to say the least. And with ONLY trusted websites. Now I have to disable web protection as well and put up with the red icon giving me stress. I might have to switch av
And it’s frustrating you can’t simly whitelist from the very notification. They just want to pretend you’re the one at fault.
Well, I barely started this year’s subsc, If they add a quick whitelist or ignore button then I’ll remain. If not, then I’ll consider the one that was mentioned.
