After installing NIS2009 on my main desktop (XP sp3) I've had a persistant problem: when I go to the Network Security Map which shows all the devices on the lan, all that shows is my desktop and the line "Security Status: refeshing".
I never had this issue with NIS2008. Also, I've installed NIS2009 on two household laptops on which the map flawlessly shows all relevant devices (i.e. NAS, network printers, etc.).
Furthermore, when I attempt to Remote Monitoring on the desktop I get a warning box which says: "Failed to set up remote monitoring. Note: Remote Monitoring cannot be setup on a unsecured and untrusted wireless network".... an odd thing for Norton to complain about since the desktop is connected by cat6 wire.
I can't for the life of me figure out what's going on. Anybody have an idea?
