g_cafe_c:...Also, what about anyone still using Windows Vista?
Hi g_cafe_c:
If you follow the link https://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/installation-problems-flash-player-windows.html in ALF60's original post the title of that Adobe support article is "Installation Problems | Flash Player | Windows 7 and Earlier". The Flash Player downloads links at the bottom of that support article (see the section titled "Still Having Problems?") currently work with Win XP SP3, Vista SP2 and Win 7 SP1.
Just a reminder that Firefox ESR is currently the last major browser that is fully supported for Win XP and Vista, and Mozilla will be ending support for these older operating systems this month on 26-Jun-2018 when FF ESR v52.9 is released - see the Mozilla blog entry Update on Firefox Support for Windows XP and Vista. If you have a Vista SP2 OS I'd suggest either uninstalling Adobe Flash or at least disabling / deactivating this add-on in your browser(s) and only using Flash on sites you know are safe and only when it's absolutely required.

32-bit Vista Home Premium SP2 * Firefox ESR v52.8.1 * Norton Security Premium v22.14.2.13
Although i can't speak for Alf, i think the new Adobe update is just being highlighted.
Also, what about anyone still using Windows Vista? Not everyone has gone to Windows 10 for all his/her computers.
Although i'm not impressed with what i'm currently using in Win 10, Vista was such a trainwreck. Through it all, i feel as though Win 7 really struck a good balance.

Rewrite the first post for this topic so it can more clearly understood. As it is currently, cannot understand.

What i noticed recently, was that my Microsoft Word 2016 started reflecting 'Office 365' (even though it isn't) out of nowhere when loading the program. As of most recently, though, it does not seem to indicate Office 365. Not sure if Microsoft bungled an update and had to immediately revert it, however, i REALLY dislike it when Microsoft starts making executive decisions without the consent of the user.

For me here I got it on my computer at 8th June 2018 at 0520 IST at morning start-up of computer automatically in Windows Update and was installed also automatically without even a restart and my other computers also the same whenever they were started for the day. That is almost about 20 hours before your message quoted above. All the browsers other than IE and Edge also got it immediately on starting the browser.
I must be getting old. Didn't even think to look in the catalog. The site says I have that kb already installed though I ran the removal tool earlier today and rebooted. Just looked in updates history and walla. Microsoft snuck the update in while I was out earlier. All good to go. Thanks !!
Cheers
