Hello Norty. Check Norton settings for remote management being enabled.

Norton core is allowed notifications in phone settings.Im thinking there’s a issue with core and Google pixel 2.Ive never messed with my phone settings so I have no clue?
Your phone settings are amuck. Check your android application manager settings and what is listed in it. Find Norton Core app and select it, if the Core app is not listed your phone is the issue. If its there tap it set the settings as I have in this screenshot.

I dont get that screen when i try to slide the slider just get that popup message?
useagle. That is correct, I get the same screen. Now, when you slide the slider to the left for "Allow Push Notifications" the next screen that will appear is the screenshot I posted in my last post. On that screen which IS Android as the Core app has opened it, slide the slide to the left again for "Allow Notifications". The next screen you will see is the one here and notifications will be OFF.
Cheers
Useagle you are looking at the Notifications screen of the Core app while soulAsylum is looking of the notifications screen of Android.
This is what my core notification area looks like and when i try to slide allow push notifications i get that message at bottom of screenshot.
No i dont see that screen there.Thats your android phone screen right?
When I slide the slider to disable "allow push notifications" my app goes to this screen. You aren't seeing it correct? Please note: this is an internal Android setting that the Core app pulls up. Look again at your Android settings for notifications. And YES, moving the Allow notifications slider to the left disables it.
Uninstalled, rebooted phone, installed core and get same message if i try to turn off allow push notifications? If you try to turn that setting off does it turn off for you?
Uninstall your Core app and reboot your phone. Get a fresh copy of the app and install. Check the settings as before and see if the issue remains.
Cheers
I do have that on,but I tried tried to turn it off and it’s says, the app isn’t found in the list of installed apps, have no idea of what that means?
In your app do you have "Allow Push Notifications" ticked to green/on? In Android settings I also have Application Notifications set for Core as well.
Cheers
Norton core app is on my Google pixel 2 Android and I don’t get the notification, something’s not right.Ive never gotten any notification on the phone just through opening core app and looking, something’s wrong?
useagle. I get a main screen notification when a new device joins any part of my network (on android). I have no clue about iOS since I don't use those devices. If my phone was locked at the time of the notice I will see it once logged in, in the top bar drop down menu.
Cheers
Im not sure what you mean by guest part?I was asking because you would never know if anyone connects to your network unless you open core and look.I would have thought core would alert you through the phone, like on the top notification bar(not sure what its called)like norton mobile alerts you.
