Just got off Norton Chat w/Nitin. My sole purpose is to rid my computer of the "upgraded" Norton Standard which we had no choice but to take. The VPN many times results in other website nonavailability, especially those with passwords I access. The Lifelock addition is useless; there are many, better offerings for the same protection out there for very little money. The new upgrades also slow down and or sometimes freeze my computer. Chat was useless. I want to go back to the old Norton Security Standard which was great but Nitin tells me there's no way. So, I had him turn off my auto renewal and when my current subscription ends I will switch to McAfee.

I believe if you compare Norton Security Standard to Norton 360 Standard (without the extra features) they're basically the same product. Price wise, they're currently the same when it comes to renewal. If there are features you don't want or like, you can either turn them off, uninstall, not activate, or just not use them.
