New Ghost 15 problem

OK, here's a new issue with Ghost 15: Tried to run my usual disk backup (i.e. restore point) tonight, but instead got this error message:

----------------------------

-Cannot create a virtual volume image of the selected drive.
--Error E0020002: Device \\?\SymantecSnapshot0 cannot be opened.
---Error EBAB03F1: Error performing inpage operation.

----------------------------

And just to add "insult to injury", a link claiming to offer "More help on the web" led to a bad web page (http://www.symantec.com/techsupp/servlet/ProductMessages?product=NSR&version=15.0.1.36526&language=English&module=7035&error=1002&build=Symantec&a=7024&b=1009):

This backup job worked fine for the couple of weeks that I was using the trial version, so don't know why it should suddenly fail now. Thanks in advance for any help with this and my other Copy Drive issue.

OK, a re-boot seemed to solve that one (at least both of the backups seemed to complete as they should), but I'm still curious what caused the error.

SoCalGuy,

There are few reasons why this error might occur, one of them is because the disk structure is unreadable. erik or someone with the right knowledge could correct me or give more information on the rootcause of this error.

Here is a link to the thread on the same error messages in Ghost 14.

I have had this error once, and running a defrag followed by chkdsk/r fixed the problem.

I'll try the checkdisk /r next time I re-boot it, don't think it's a free-space problem (on either USB drive) as mentioned on the other thread since they're both 1 TB and probably only about 1/4 full.
