New hard drive & probable repeat of former problem

   My hard drive failed and I have to send the computer to the warranty site for replacement. Believe it or not this happened once before about a year ago. When it came back the drive was loaded with a Norton 30-day trial version as if I had bought a new computer. The fact that I already had anPreview active Norton Subscription did not matter. When the 30 days were up my Norton was shut off.

 

 Norton's customer service finally cleared the problem and reinstated my regular subscription, but it took a while. This is likely to happen again and the Warranty service center is in Texas so there's no way I will see them.  Can anyone give me advice of what I can do on my end  so the problem doesn't happen again? Orr do I just have to go through it all again. Thank you.
