New PC with Windows 11 - permanent restart of the PC during installation

Hello, I want to install Norton 360 Advanced on a new PC that is running Windows 11. The installation starts by asking for a restart of the PC before continuing with the installation. After reboot, I launch the suite, and it still requires a restart of the PC, … and so on. I never get a final and finished installation. Why? Thank you for your help and advice.

  • and you’ve properly removed pre-installed trialware security solutions before trying to install Norton?
  • and is your new machine Windows 11 in S mode or Windows 11 ARM-based device?

Also, be sure you are using the Restart command, or clicking on a Restart button in the installation package. Not a Shutdown and startup again.
