My Norton 360 is about to expire. On the renewal now site I switched to the Norton 360 Multi-Device. I received my confirmation then I thought I downloaded the New 360. My older 360 shows only a few days left and I keep getting notices to renew. When I check My Devices it doesn't show the Multi-Device. Do I first have to delete the old 360 and then try again to download the new Multi-Device. I don't have hours to wait on the phone for support help. Thank you all. I'm a newbie to the site.
Hi BobMKE
Is the current version that is active on the computer N360 standard or premier the standard version has 2gb and the premier has 25gb of online storage?
How did you get to the renewal page, did you use the Norton product or a renewal message or by logging into your Norton account using your email address and password or did you just go to the Norton website.
Does the confirmation email have a key or code and how many digits is it, please don’t post the key or code.

Thank you ATB. I currently have the Standard 360 (3 days left) and I upgraded via the renewal message. Yes I have the key code number for the 360 Multi-Device. The Key code has 25 letters and numbers. I also have the serial number. HELP
Hi BobMKE
I am a little confused because if you click on the renew link you will be taken trough processes to renew what you have currently on the computer. Whether you clicked on something else to take you to the multi-device product I’m not sure but as you have a 25 digit code it can mean you have purchased a new product and not processed a renewal.
Can you check on the Norton user interface the days remaining and also log into Norton management on the link below using your Norton account email address and password, click on my account, click on product details, and it should say there days remaining.
Is the product that is currently on the computer the multi-device product? As N360 premier is what is available through the multi-device product and not N360 standard, the reason I’m double-checking is that if you do have N360 premier it is easier to extend your subscription.
Oh and by the way my user name is intesec, ATB means all the best, its OK you’re not the first and probably won’t be the last.

intesec,
The Renewal site had the 360 on the left side and the "New" 360Multi-Device on the right side of the renewal screen. I clicked on the Multi because it seems like a better deal with more features. I was then taken to the accounting site, then the download site. The Norton Zone ?? was a free addition so I clicked on that first and then couldn't find my way back to the download of the Multi-Device. Later found some other area to download it and after it said it was downloaded. I checked the programs and features and the Norton 360 is on there but it doesn't have the 12/4/13 order date on it. I kept going back to try and load it and it would say the download was successful. I checked my downloads and there were seven (7) Norton 360 "Downloader" logo,s all from yesterday, with different times. The logo is yellow with a black arrow pointing downward. As I said before, when I check devices on the Norton site for the Multi-Device, it said no device. My last year's 360 is not the Premier. Through the years newer versions were updated and I believe it is now the 6th version. I only have three (3) days remaining. So do I have to delete the old and try again with the new? Or will it download the new when the old expires?
Also, keep in mind that I'm older and not a computer wiz and you probably forgot more that I know. Thank s for taking the time to help me out.
Bob,
Probably the simplest way to sort out where you are with going from N360 to Norton 360 Mulidevice is to contact Norton OnLine Support via the CHAT route that uses the keyboard and not your phone. It's quicker and they have tools and access to information that we do not. Our function here is to help with technical problems.
Here's my boilerplate to get Live CHAT ....
To contact customer support Click on this link and work on from there. You may have to scroll down a little to see the SCAN button.
You can choose CHAT or Email; email or phone may have a long wait time and feedback from users tells us that CHAT is by far the best at resolving problems.
Note that that link is to the USA/CAN website so if you are located elsewhere I'm sure you will be able to find the equivalent location on your local Symantec website; some pages have a link at the top right where you can select the country you are located in.
If you find that you did not buy in fact Norton 360 Multidevice then there is a 60 day refund policy so you can change without losing money and CHAT may be able to help you do that painlessly.
Do let us know how it goes and if you then need some technical help you are in the right place .....
Thank you Hugh. The MKE is short for Milwaukee in airport talk. I'll keep everyone in the loop.
TIA
but TPA geographically
I was curious if the MKE could be Milwaukee - I saw that too many times when I worked at Bowling Headquarters and traveled more than I cared to about 22 years ago.

intesec, Hugh, and Yank, thank you for your help. Today I got through to support and he took over my computer for about two hours and got everything on line, updated, and all is well. He went above and beyond in helping me setting up my renewal.

Double-click on one of the Norton 360 Downloader's and is should install the MultiDevice software. If 360 standard is required to be uninstall the downloader will do it for you, reboot the computer and then complete the installation of MultiDevices software. This is the way it has always worked for me and I have had no problems.
