Newly found IPv6 adress?

It says that Norton discovered a new IPv6 connection which I've never seen before (Teredo Tunneling Pseudo Interface).

I have not changed any hardware at all or done any software changes. Is it normal to see these changes? If not, should I be worried?

I am pretty paranoid when it comes to computers and stuff so it would help a lot to get some more informationg regarding this.

Thanks in advance.

Edit:

As stated above, I am pretty paranoid about computer stuff (e.g getting hacked), how safe are home networks? I am the only one in my household that is connected directly to a modem and when I see entries such as these I freak out. Is it considered a bad habit to look through the security logs? I know that Norton is a really good antivirus and I've been using it pretty much since 2008 but sometimes I just feel unsafe regardless.

Hi, Xybki. As Peter says, nothing to worry about. Forget checking History. It only causes unnecessary worry.

If you have the green tick, then Norton is working fine.

Regarding networks, if you set yours to Public as I do, then you will have maximum protection.

See this thread.   https://community.norton.com/en/forums/norton-just-found-teredo-tunneling-pseudo-interface

Teredo Tunneling Pseudo Interface is a Windows function that helps with the eventual change over to IPv6 from IPv4.

Nothing to worry about.
