Folks!! Please read this article related to the next upgrade to Windows 10 version. From personal experience I can faithfully recommend NOT upgrading when the next version is offered. Save yourselves the headaches and possible loss of data. A great "how to" article for deferral can be found here. Please keep in mind the deferral is only available to Pro and Enterprise versions of Windows 10 at the present time.
Cheers
1903 updated to 18362.86 on 4/28 - CU KB4497093 on the Release Preview Ring.
I also updated Norton Security to 22.17.1.50 and all is well.
Still working great on my Laptop. Another Month and we shall see.

Ahh insider build. I'll wait for the bugs to show up before installing. Thanks for the heads up Jim.

Thanks Jim. Version 1903 Build 18362.30 does indeed appear to be the candidate for the next version release. Since Microsoft has thus for not had a good grade with releases be ready for consumption, I've suggested to my customers who are and aren't on version 1809, to download the media creation tool and make a "clean backup copy" ready to install for 1809. And, back-up their data. As you stated those on versions at or nearing end of support will most likely have 1903 forced to their machines. Windows Home users also won't have the ability to defer updates until AFTER upgrading to 1903. At least things SEEM to be heading in a positive direction for a change.
Cheers,
Terry

We will begin broader availability in late May for commercial customers, users who choose the new May 2019 Update for their Windows 10 PC via “check for updates,” and customers whose devices are nearing the end of support on a given release.

The new policy on 1903 release is to release it to Release Preview as soon as this week but the final release won't happen until some time in May. I am on 1809 Pro and have the Feature Updates delayed for 90 days. I will see what it does and then when I am ready I will update.
