My mac CPU is at 98%, with this NFMWps showing as the culprit.
I have just had two sessions with chat support, the first one during which I was told that the above process is nothing to do with Norton. The tech guy said he didnt know what NFMWps was, but was probably an Apple issue.
He took over my comp, for maybe ten mins or so, shut down Norton etc.... ended up telling me to contact Apple.
I wasnt convinced, so did a little digging, got back onto chat help again (same guy), and I informed him that NFMWps stood for Norton For Mac etc..... he had never heard of it.
He ended up telling me to un-install Norton, and Re-install etc. Seriously???
I haven't got time to mess around, especially if it is a trial and error suggestion from a guy who doesnt know what one of their own processes is, let alone a fix for it. I must admit, I am less than impressed.
Does anyone know here why and how? ... to fix it that is?
Thank you in advance.
