I successfully (it seemed) copied my C:\ drive to a larger drive on my computer. I then disconnected the source drive and booted to the larger destination drive. Windows booted up to the point of a blue screen with a Windows XP logo underneath which usually reads "Windows is starting up", but does not progress further than displaying the logo on blue screen. I tried a reset with the same result. I thought I would turn to the Community for some insight before screwing up what may be an easy fix.
Some background info might help. The source drive is an old 40GB IDE drive. The destination drive is a newer, but still old 120GB SATA 150 drive. The IDE drive has a single NTFS partition. The SATA drive has one NTFS partition and 10MB of unallocated space. I'm running WinXP Pro 32bit sp3.
