I recently purchased NIS 2010 on CD and attempted to install it yesterday. Unfortunately, all it does is run SetupBD, claims the drivers for the network adapters have been successfully installed, then . . . nothing. I had a similar situation last year, when I purchased NIS 2009 - the on-line support person remotely accessed the computer and claimed the problem was that I had NAV 2008 installed - s/he uninstalled it and everything went fine. This year, wanting to avoid those problems, I uninstalled NIS 2009 before even starting the process. No dice.
I have already downloaded the Norton Removal Tool and run it twice. The computer's a few years old, running Windows XP, but meets all the system requirements. Any advice would be appreciated - thanks!
